Why Breathe?

I aim to bring 'fresh air' to charity leaders by providing targeted, specialist fundraising support; enabling organisations to expand and manage change to meet need and exceed expectations.

I am passionate about the charity / not-for-profit sector and the role that fundraising plays in creating highly effective organisations.  Over the last twenty years I have raised in excess of £5.7 million for charitable causes. In 2018 I launched Breathe Fundraising to enable me to do what I love with more organisations

My 80/20 Ambition

I love what I do.  I also recognise that not all organisations are in a position to pay for specialist fundraising advice and support.  The most amazing projects, ideas and campaigns require ‘rocket fuel’ to get them off the ground and I want to be there to help.  That is why I have built an 80/20 aim into my business model: :

80% of MY work will enable me to provide 20% of support for free

In 2018 my 80/20 project was the Make A Difference Ball which raised in excess of £45,000 for the Children’s Major Trauma Unit at Southampton University Hospital. In 2019 I had to pause my 80/20 ambition to concentrate on seeing clearly (please see my blog). In 2020 I am supporting Genetic Disorders UK as they work tirelessly to ensure individuals and families affected by genetic conditions are supported through the global pandemic. If you would like further information on how to become an 80/20 partner I would love to hear from you. Please get in touch.
